Meet the Parents episode 2: Moving house & parking cars

@thatchamdad is joined by @findingourfeet, @BestDadICanBe and @The_dadventurer to discuss top tips for moving house with children in tow. We also talk about people who park their cars without considering the needs of parents of young children. (Spoiler alert: we don’t like them.) Oh, and Bananas in Pyjamas and Robocop (but not at the same time).

Tim mentioned that singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega had once commented on his blog – which he was very excited about because he’s a big fan. Here’s the video for one of her best known songs, Luka, a deceptively jaunty track written about an abused child.

Another of Tim’s past blog commenters is Richard Tulloch, one of the original writers of the animated children’s TV series Bananas in Pyjamas. In case you’re not familiar with the show in either its original or its current CGI incarnations, have a look at this.

Richard also blogs about his travels here.

And Dave’s idea for having an army of Robocops to patrol supermarket car parks might just be a little extreme. Here’s the trailer for the original 1987 Robocop movie. Judge for yourself.
